We will build on our record of delivering universal free school meals in primary schools by ensuring that every secondary school student living in a household claiming Universal Credit is eligible for free school meals – scrapping the current £7,400 earnings limit.
We will also ensure that free school meals are extended to secondary school students with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) who are living in households with incomes at or below equivalent Universal Credit thresholds.
