Tell us about yourself

My name is Daniel Llewellyn. I’m 34 and have lived in Caerphilly since I was a young child.

I have worked in several different jobs from retail to the hospitality sector and am also a former member of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers and Royal Logistic Corp.

What is the most important thing you think the Senedd should do in the next five years?

Free public transport to 16 to 24 year olds, teaching Welsh history in schools, and giving NHS and care staff the pay rise they deserve. Our NHS has shown time and time again that it goes beyond the call of duty.

I'd also like to see better care and service for veterans.

What will you do for Newport East if elected?

Put the community first and making sure all voices are heard in our national parliament.
