Mabon ap Gwynfor
Constituency: Dwyfor Meirionnydd
Portfolio: Agriculture, Rural Affairs, Housing, Planning and Local Government; Chief Whip
Mabon says: "My name is Mabon ap Gwynfor and I live with my wife, Nia, and four children on the family farm in Cynwyd. Previously I was the north Wales manager for one of the UKs largest health charities, and prior to that I ran Tŷ Siamas in Dolgellau.
I will use whatever position I am in to try and introduce legislation that will right much of the wrongs that we have seen in recent years. Issues such as ensuring affordable housing provision; control the sale of houses; improved digital communication networks; ensuring key services are as close as possible to our communities; creating conditions to allow our culture to thrive and our environment to heal; decentralising public organisations and invest in rural infrastructure.
We know the problems, we have solutions, we now need a government to put those solutions to work for the benefit of all."

Rhun ap Iorwerth
Constituency: Ynys Môn
Portfolio: Health and Social Care; Senedd Commissioner
Rhun says: "I am a southern born, northern bred husband and father, professional broadcaster and journalist, amateur sportsman and musician, first elected to the Senedd in a 2013 by-election. My most recent Senedd role has been as Plaid Cymru’s Shadow Minister for Health and Care, holding Government to account during the pandemic. To serve the people of my island community and my country in our national Parliament is the highest honour I could have.
The period ahead will be largely about rebuilding after the pandemic. But that can’t mean rebuilding things back ‘as they were’. We have to build more sustainable public services and a more dynamic economy based on our strengths and needs as a nation. And we have to grasp the wider opportunity to build the Welsh nation, wrestling power away from Westminster and a UK establishment that will simply never prioritise our needs or target its activities at what works for Wales."

Cefin Campbell
Region: Mid and West Wales
Portfolio: Designated Member (The Co-Operation Agreement)
Cefin says: "I'm Cefin Campbell, married with three girls - the eldest a journalist, the second is in university and the youngest studying for her A levels. I was born in Glanaman, a coal-mining village in the Amman Valley but now live in rural Llandeilo. I'm a former lecturer having worked at both Swansea and Cardiff Universities.
In the context of Mid and West Wales my priority would be to develop a wide-ranging strategy for regenerating our rural communities - economically, socially, environmentally and culturally, improve broadband provision and deal with the second homes crisis that in many areas is having a damaging effect on the availability of affordable homes for local people.
On a wider level the Senedd needs to intensify the integration of social care and health, tackle child poverty and create an ambitious green energy programme."

Luke Fletcher
Region: South Wales West
Portfolio: Economy
Luke says: "Born in Pencoed, I went to Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Ogwr for primary school, Ysgol Llanhari for comp and then Cardiff University for my undergraduate and Masters degrees. I worked in a bar in the hospitality sector for just shy of 5 years before becoming an Economy and Finance researcher.
There are a number of issues facing Wales right now, chief among them, for me, is poverty. More and more people are relying on services such as food banks to get by. I believe it is a matter of urgency that we look to get powers over the administration of welfare devolved to the Senedd so that we can tailor our welfare system to meet the needs of people living in Wales.
A priority for me is tackling poverty and its causes so I would be looking to meet and help organisations working in that field across the constituency - alongside lobbying for change with Welsh Government. Alongside this, there is real potential in my area for us to be at the forefront of a 'green industrial revolution'. I would want to put us on the map as the place to be in Wales for the research and development of green technologies, bringing good paying jobs to our local area, ensuring people who want to stay in the local area and want good quality and good paying jobs can do so."

Heledd Fychan
Region: South Wales Central
Portfolio: Children, Young People and Welsh Language; Group Chair
Heledd says: "My name is Heledd and I live in Pontypridd with my husband and our 7 year old son. There are three key priorities ahead of us in my view. Firstly, to support communities across Wales recover from the impact of COVID-19. This includes investing in health and social care, as well as education, and supporting businesses and freelancers who have lost income due to restrictions.
Secondly, we must take action to tackle climate change. We have ten years to save our planet, and we need a Government that will prioritise genuine action rather than make empty promises.
Thirdly, we need to ensure more decisions about the future of Wales are taken in Wales. For me, this means securing and winning referendum on independence so that we can control our own destiny as a nation."

Llŷr Huws Gruffydd
Acting Leader
Region: North Wales
Portfolio: Finance; Designated Member
Llŷr says: "I have represented the North Wales Region in the Senedd since 2011. In that time, I have served as Plaid Cymru's Shadow Minister for Education and most recently as Shadow Minister for the Environment and Rural Affairs. The Senedd's priority in the coming years has to be to tackle the climate and biodiversity emergency we face. The pace and scale of response from the previous Government has been woefully inadequate and this has to change.
As we emerge from the Covid pandemic we have a rare opportunity to re-cast the way we live our lives and the next Welsh Government has to lead the charge from the front. I will be a strong voice for north Wales in the Senedd, constantly ensuring we are not neglected or left behind. I will also drive a relentless focus on tackling poverty - especially child poverty. As a father of four I'm determined that every young person is given the best opportunity in life."

Siân Gwenllian
Constituency: Arfon
Portfolio: Lead Designated Member
Siân says: "I live in Y Felinheli in the constituency of Arfon where I grew up. I raised my four children as a single parent when I sadly lost my husband Dafydd to cancer in 1999. I have worked in journalism and communications. In 2008 I was elected to Gwynedd Council representing my home village. Plaid Cymru is the party of communities, and as the MS for Arfon, I want to support local businesses to recover and grow post-Covid.
As I have done over the past 5 years, I will work hard to develop the city of Bangor as a centre of excellence for health care and education, including bringing the training of doctors and dentists to Bangor. As part of Plaid Cymru’s nationwide plan to tackle climate change, I will also work hard for an integrated public transport system for the whole of the constituency."

Delyth Jewell
Region: South Wales East
Portfolio: Climate Change, Energy and Transport
Delyth says: "I was born in the Miners' Hospital in Caerphilly, grew up in Ystrad Mynach and went to school in Bargoed. I am fiercely proud of being from this area, and it's been an honour to represent my home region in the Senedd.
I will continue to champion the needs of our communities, including fighting for investment in our valley towns that have been neglected for so long, seeking out opportunities for young people to be given a voice in decision making (after all, it's their future), and securing more resources to deal with the health and care needs of our people.
I want to see increased counselling support for children who've had to deal with untold stress during the lockdown period, and for mental health hubs to be placed in every town centre."

Elin Jones
Llywydd
Constituency: Ceredigion
Elin says: "I’m Elin Jones, I’ve represented Ceredigion in the Senedd since 1999. In that time, I have been a Minister in the One Wales Government, and in the last term, the Llywydd. In this role, I have overseen the changing of the Assembly to a Parliament, the Senedd and votes for 16 and 17 year olds.
I have also remained active in Ceredigion political life, working with constituents and communities to raise issues with the Welsh Government, the Council and the health board, and to achieve positive changes in my constituency. One of my proudest achievements has been leading the campaign to secure the future of Bronglais Hospital – a strategically important hospital for not just Ceredigion, but the whole of mid Wales.
The next five years will be focused on rebuilding our society and communities after Covid. I will continue the fight for modern, accessible health services for Ceredigion. Bronglais needs continuous investment and enough locally-trained staff. Mental health services need to be strengthened, both in the community and in crisis care, and more dental services provided locally."

Peredur Owen Griffiths
Region: South Wales East
Portfolio: Communities, Older People, Constitution and Justice
Peredur says: "My name is Peredur Owen Griffiths, but some call me Pred. Being the son of a minister, I had already lived in many different parts of Wales by the time I went to secondary school. From being welcomed into the rural community of Pumsaint in Carmarthenshire; watching the lifeboats battle the wild seas of Moelfre in Ynys Môn, to working with a vet all across the farmlands of the Vale of Clwyd and Flintshire – Wales is my home.
Blaenau Gwent and the wider South Wales East Region has been ignored, taken for granted and left to drift economically and socially. Labour has promised the earth and delivered very little. They can’t – or won’t – shield us from an England-focused Tory Westminster government.
I’ll put us us back on the map – ensuring Blaenau Gwent and the wider South Wales East region is no longer ignored or taken for granted; I will drive forward the reform of the unfair council tax system where the highest council tax bills hit the poorest parts of Wales; and I will make sure no child goes to bed hungry by backing Plaid Cymru’s pledge that will ensure every child from a family that receives Universal Credit will receive free school meals."

Adam Price
Constituency: Carmarthen East and Dinefwr
Portfolio: Culture, Sports, International Affairs and Innovation
Adam says: "I was born in Carmarthen into a miner’s family. Educated at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, I found my political awakening during the Miners’ strike of the 1980s when my brothers and I would join Dad on the picket line. The last of the generation to receive university grants, I attended Cardiff University where I graduated with a BSc in Economics.
I was elected to the House of Commons in 2001 before stepping down from front-line politics in 2010 to attend Harvard University where I become a Fellow at the Centre for International Development at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
But politics brought me home to Wales and in 2016 I became a Member of the Senedd - serving the people of my home constituency of Carmarthen East and Dinefwr yet again. I’ve always been driven by the importance of fairness and justice, and I’m committed to making Wales an equal nation and a nation of equals."

Sioned Williams
Region: South Wales West
Portfolio: Post-16 education, Social Justice and Equalities
Sioned says: "Brought up in the Gwent valleys, I live with my husband Daniel and two teenage children in Alltwen in the Swansea Valley in the Neath Constituency. I am a Community Councillor for Alltwen and Chair of Cilybebyll Community Council. Having served as Chair of Governors at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pontardawe for five years, I'm now a governor at Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera Bro Dur.
There is so much work to do. Our society is riven by inequality - just as we saw the poorest shoulder the burden for the austerity agenda, so will they be the hardest hit by the recession that is already upon us.
My priority will be to address the shameful levels of poverty and neglect in the Neath area, which include tackling the lack of transport infrastructure and connectivity, digital poverty, a loss of social amenities and a need to address the cynicism which is taking root - resulting from unrealised promises and unsuitable initiatives."
