About the artist: The artist Luned Rhys Parri is well-known throughout Wales and beyond for her three-dimensional dioramas in papier mâché and mixed media. The item on offer in this auction is a cotton-paper print, in a simple white frame, of one such work entitled Protest Pont Trefechan. It portrays the seminal event in Aberystwyth in 1963, organised by the newly-formed Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg.
