Llŷr Gruffydd
Llŷr Gruffydd was named Acting Leader of Plaid Cymru in May 2023.
He has represented the North Wales region in the Senedd since 2011. In that time, he has served as Plaid Cymru's Shadow Minister for Education, Shadow Minister for the Environment and Rural Affairs, and most recently holds the Finance and Local Government portfolio.
Llŷr began his career as a youth worker, before going to work for the Wales Youth Agency and the Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services. He later became project manager for an economic development company. Llŷr has also been a Management Consultant for the National Trust in Wales.
He lives in Ruthin and is the father of four children.
