Diaspora Engagement
We would continue the work of engaging with the worldwide Welsh diaspora, in the fields of business networks, the Welsh Personalities and Envoys initiative, and developing global connections with international students and staff who have studied and worked at Welsh universities.
In addition, we would establish a pilot project to test the feasibility of tracking and keeping in touch with young people who leave Wales for higher education or initial employment to ensure they are kept abreast with ongoing opportunities at home and to create a data base of diaspora talent.
