When we look at our high street, we see it dying. More and more shops are falling victim to the rise of online sales, terrible parking, and extortionate business rates.

We love our city centre, and we know that it isn’t suffering because people don’t care. The high street’s failing health is a direct result of politicians who have given up.

It’s time to turn things around. We are calling for two simple things that will provide the perfect medicine to help Newport city centre recover.

  1. Free Parking for Shoppers
  2. Scrap business rates for small businesses

We believe that this is will provide the injection of hope that’s needed for our high street.
