Plaid MPs write to Cabinet Secretary urging him to scrap "ill-judged, ignorant and insensitive" iron ring

Plaid Cymru MPs have today joined forces in a letter to Welsh Government Cabinet Secretary Ken Skates urging him to reconsider his decision to proceed with the creation of an iron ring sculpture in Flint Castle.

Liz Saville Roberts MP, Jonathan Edwards MP, Hywel Williams MP and Ben Lake MP have all signed the letter which brands the plans "ill-judged, ignorant and insensitive", arguing that the Welsh Government is failing to properly recognise and respect Wales's past.

A copy of the letter can be seen below and you can click here to read it as a PDF. You can also sign a petition that has been set up to oppose the iron ring by clicking here.
